We've been lost before. Let's be very clear about that. In fact, there have been occasions where we have gotten lost on purpose. Well, maybe that's not entirely true. But a few years ago we often participated in "Adventure Racing". These races involved finding one's way from point to point on foot, on a mountain bike, and in the water. No GPS devices were allowed, so needless to say, getting lost was frequently a part of adventure racing. More than once we found ourselves saying, "Where the heck ARE we?"
When the folks at Global Scavenger Hunt 2011 asked for our team name, we knew immediately what it had to be. Given that once again we were heading off into the unknown, we felt certain that we would soon be questioning our surroundings. Looking forward to being lost again, we just had to pull out the old team name from our adventure racing days.
